In an open forum shared online on March 16, 2026, Abama emphasizes that CRTV provides reliable and accurate information on the functioning of the Cameroonian State, both nationally and internationally. He highlights the public channel's role in disseminating credible information on government projects and the direction of public policies. "In terms of institutional information, CRTV has no competitor in Cameroon," he asserts.
Abama specifies that he diligently follows CRTV, especially the news and the "17 heures" program. Although he recognizes the importance of private media such as Vision 4, Equinoxe, and Canal 2, he favors CRTV for information on the country's institutional affairs. He encourages citizens to diversify their sources of information to form an informed opinion.
He concedes that CRTV is not exempt from pro-government propaganda, but insists that it remains an essential source of information for understanding Cameroon's institutional life. For Abama, an informed citizen should follow CRTV daily to stay abreast of national news.
