The U17 Indomitable Lions now know their opponents for the upcoming Africa U17 Cup of Nations (AFCON). The draw, which took place this Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Cairo, determined the groups for the competition that will begin on April 25, 2026, in Morocco.

As champions of the UNIFFAC tournament, the young Cameroonians approach this AFCON with great ambitions. The team, led by Alioum Saidou, has its eyes on the trophy after its regional success. Cameroon, which has already won the title twice, in 2019 and 2023, hopes to win a third continental crown.
