Cameroonian midfielder Arthur Avom, currently with FC Lorient, is attracting significant interest from across Europe. These lofty goals could make it difficult for Sunderland, even if the English club currently seems to be in pole position. Chelsea, Strasbourg, Galatasaray and Rennes are also reportedly interested in the young Cameroonian's profile.
Discussions between Sunderland and the player's representatives are reportedly at an advanced stage, with a four-year contract offer with an option on the table. However, no definitive agreement has yet been reached. If Sunderland manages to finalize this transfer, it would be a valuable addition to the club, which is focusing on youth and potential.
