Bayer Leverkusen has set a substantial transfer fee for Cameroonian forward Christian Kofane, attracting interest from major European clubs. At just 19 years old, Kofane has become a key player for the German team, justifying a valuation between 60 and 70 million euros.

Arriving from Albacete, a Spanish second-division club, in the summer of 2025 for 5 million euros, Kofane quickly proved his worth in the Bundesliga. His performances include more than five goals in all competitions this season, demonstrating his adaptability and offensive effectiveness.

Described as a fast player with a keen eye for goal, Kofane is attracting attention from clubs such as Arsenal and Real Madrid, who are looking to strengthen their attack. Although no official offers have been made, these clubs are closely monitoring his progress.

Bayer Leverkusen, aware of the interest in their young forward, wants to both retain this promising talent and anticipate potential transfer offers. The German club has made it clear that they will not undersell Kofane, setting a high price to deter suitors and highlight the player's potential.

Kofane has represented Cameroon at the international level, including unofficial friendly matches with the under-20 team in September 2024. He was subsequently called up to the Cameroon national team in December 2025 to participate in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Christian Kofane's next match is scheduled for April 4, 2026, when Bayer Leverkusen will face Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
