"Samuel Eto'o Fils has been insulted by those who did not share his choices or positions," Ebala laments, insisting on the need for Cameroonians to highlight their national heroes. He questions the lack of recognition given to the country's positive figures, deploring that Cameroonian youth often take as role models influencers whose impact is questionable.
For Ebala, Samuel Eto'o is more than just a name: "a registered trademark that is not up for discussion". He refutes the idea that everything boils down to money, highlighting the values of dignity and integrity that guide his commitment. He sees Eto'o as a mirror of Cameroonian society and refuses to let malicious individuals tarnish his image.
This is not the first time that Ebala has taken a stand on Samuel Eto'o. In the past, he has denounced what he considers an international plot to destabilize the Cameroonian football icon and FECAFOOT.
