Former Cameroonian international footballer and current FECAFOOT President, Samuel Eto'o Fils, celebrated his 45th birthday on March 10, 2026. On this occasion, he received greetings from many personalities, including Armand Noutack II, former activist of the MRC, and Oswald Baboke, Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic.

Samuel Eto'o is considered one of the greatest strikers of all time and one of the greatest African players. He has won numerous titles during his career, including several Champions Leagues with FC Barcelona and Inter Milan. He is also the all-time leading scorer in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Since December 2021, Samuel Eto'o has been the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT). His leadership is sometimes seen as confrontational, particularly due to disagreements with the Ministry of Sports.
