Racing 237, an association of motorcycle enthusiasts led by Narcisse Kounhoua, expressed its gratitude to journalists for their media coverage of the Grand Prix Moto du Cameroun. A special evening was held on April 30th in Douala to honor the media professionals who contributed to the success of this sporting event.
Narcisse Kounhoua emphasized the importance of media coverage for the success of the six editions of the Grand Prix Moto du Cameroun. He particularly praised the extensive coverage of the 6th Grand Prix, which took place in Douala in February. As a token of appreciation, he organized this dinner to personally thank the journalists.
"I would like to thank the management of the Palladium Group for allowing us to welcome everyone. I would like to renew my sympathy to the national press, in this case the national sports press which carries the Grand Prix Moto du Cameroun. We thought that sports motorcycling has its say," said Narcisse Kounhoua. He also highlighted the cohesion that the press brings to his organization, which has been working since 2017 to promote motorcycling in the Cameroonian sports landscape.
The National Office of Sports Infrastructure and Equipment (ONIES) and the Motards du Cameroun association were also present at the event. Evariste Ediango, Head of Communications for ONIES, praised Racing 237's professionalism, highlighting their outstanding performances in Yaoundé in August and Douala in February. Pierre Junior Ebollo, President of Motards du Cameroun, recalled the long-standing collaboration between his association and Racing 237, aimed at developing high-level motorcycling. He described Narcisse Kounhoua as an open-minded man determined to realize his ideas.
Narcisse Kounhoua took the opportunity to announce upcoming sporting events involving Racing 237. The association continues to energize motorcycle sports in Cameroon, with the support of its partners and the sports press.
