In Germany, Christian Kofane rediscovered his assist touch in Bayer Leverkusen's 1-1 draw with Mainz 05. This contribution was crucial in a tightly contested match, signaling a return to form for the midfielder. In France, Darlin Yongwa also made an offensive impact during FC Lorient's draw against Auxerre.

The FIFA Series 2026 will take place during the international match windows in March and April, with the aim of providing national teams with a unique opportunity for competition.
The FIFA Series was approved by the FIFA Council in December 2022 and aligns with FIFA's strategic objectives for global football: 2023-2027. The 2026 edition will feature 48 national teams, representing almost a quarter of FIFA's 211 member associations. Eleven FIFA member associations will host the series, with Rwanda staging two groups.
