The announcement of this initiative follows a meeting between the Minister of Transport of Cameroon, Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe, and a PRO MEET UP delegation led by President Carole Mbessa Elongo. The minister has confirmed his participation in this fifth edition, where he will speak on the role of integrating transport corridors in optimizing flows and developing sub-regional value chains.
Carole Mbessa Elongo emphasizes the importance of this meeting for Cameroon, which wishes to move beyond its role as a simple transit country. The goal is to develop its corridors by transforming raw materials locally and creating economic zones conducive to economic development.
