The Cameroon Party for National Reconciliation (PCRN) has issued a warning against the dissemination of fake statements in its name, threatening to bring the perpetrators of these acts to justice.
In a statement released on February 23, 2026, in Yaoundé, the PCRN denounces the circulation of fraudulent messages on social networks, allegedly issued under the heading "PCRN Coordination Diaspora." These messages convey false information regarding endorsements and funding requests on behalf of the party.
The party specifies that these publications do not come from any official PCRN body and alerts its activists and supporters to these attempted scams and manipulations. Faced with the proliferation of these initiatives, the PCRN reserves the right to take legal action against the perpetrators of these acts.
The PCRN calls on its activists, supporters and the general public not to give credit to these messages and to remain vigilant as the next elections approach. The party recalls that the legal obstacles to its participation in the elections were lifted in 2025 by the competent courts.
This warning comes in a context of preparation for the next legislative and municipal elections, where the PCRN intends to play a major role on the Cameroonian political scene.
