The Super Falcons of Nigeria secured a 3-1 victory against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in a friendly match held at the Military Stadium in Ngoa-Ekelle, Yaounde. This game was part of both teams' preparation for the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), scheduled to take place in Morocco from March 17 to April 3, 2026.

After a 1-0 defeat in their first friendly encounter, Nigeria displayed an improved performance, showcasing their ability to bounce back. Coach Justin Madugu made several changes to the starting lineup, which energized the team. Cameroon opened the scoring early in the match through Kiki Meva, but Nigeria responded swiftly.

Chinwendu Ihezuo equalized for Nigeria in the 32nd minute, heading in a cross from Rinsola Babajide. Just before halftime, Babajide put the Super Falcons ahead, making the score 2-1. In the second half, Michelle Alozie sealed Nigeria's victory with a third goal in the 64th minute, also scoring with a header from a cross by captain Rasheedat Ajibade.

This win allows Nigeria to regain confidence before WAFCON, where they will face Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt in Group C. Cameroon, on the other hand, will compete against Ghana, Mali, and Cape Verde in Group D. The two friendly matches allowed the coaches to assess their teams and refine their strategies for the continental tournament.
