The 2025-2026 season of MTN Elite One, Cameroon's premier football division, has already completed six matchdays. Some clubs are starting to stand out in the title race, while others are fighting to avoid relegation.

Gazelle FA of Garoua currently holds the top spot in the standings with 13 points. The club, based in the North region, has had a strong start to the season, positioning itself as a serious title contender. Unisport du Haut-Nkam is closely following with the same number of points, promising a tight battle at the top.

Behind the two leaders, Coton Sport of Garoua and PWD of Bamenda are lurking with 12 points each. These teams remain well-placed to challenge for the title and could quickly climb the standings if the leaders falter.

At the bottom of the standings, Aigle Royal du Moungo and Fauve Azur Elite of Yaoundé find themselves in the relegation zone with only three points each. These clubs will need to significantly improve their performance if they hope to stay in MTN Elite One.

The season is still long, and many matches remain to be played. The current standings are just a snapshot of the competition, and everything can still change in the coming matchdays. The title race and the battle for survival promise to be exciting until the end of the season. The next MTN Elite One matches will be played on February 22, 2026.
