Cameroonian forward Karl Etta Eyong ended a long goal drought by scoring a crucial winner for Levante against Osasuna (3-2). The match, part of La Liga's 35th round, took place this Friday at the Ciudad de Valencia stadium.
Coming on as a substitute in the 76th minute, the 22-year-old Eyong popped up in the final moments of the match to score the winning goal in the 90th minute. This goal, a diving header from an Alan Matturro pass, not only secured three points for his team but also ended a run of 20 league games without a goal for the Cameroonian international.
The match was full of twists and turns. Osasuna had taken the lead with two quick goals from Jeremy Toljan (own goal) and Ante Budimir.
