Cameroonian central defender Hadji Issa Moustapha, trained at Gazelle de Garoua, has signed with Croatian first division club HNK Gorica. The 22-year-old player has signed a contract until 2029 with the Velika Gorica-based club.
Moustapha has already joined his new team in Croatia. HNK Gorica announced the signing on April 14, 2026, emphasizing that the central defender will strengthen the team's defensive line. The club highlights his intelligent play, defensive solidity, and qualities as a modern footballer.
Before joining Croatia, Hadji Issa Moustapha played in Armenia for FC Ararat Yerevan. He also spent a season on loan at SK Beveren in Belgium.
HNK Gorica, which continues to strengthen its team, stated that they have recruited a player whose profile perfectly fits their needs. The club is confident that Moustapha will quickly integrate and make a significant contribution to their defense.
HNK Gorica was founded in 2009 and plays at the Stadion Radnik. The team finished the 2025-2026 season in 8th place in the Croatian championship. Their next league match is scheduled for April 12, 2026, against HNK Hajduk Split.
