Panoro Energy is focusing on increasing its production in Gabon. The company has announced the drilling of four new production wells on the Dussafu Marin Permit. This initiative is part of a continuous growth strategy in the region.

The Dussafu Marin Permit is a key asset for Panoro Energy, where constant exploration and development have enabled sustained growth in production and reserves since 2018. In 2025, Panoro Energy achieved record production, with a net average of 10,263 barrels of oil per day. Of this total, 5,813 barrels came from Gabon.

Julien Balkany, Executive Chairman of Panoro, stated that the company is entering 2026 with significant growth projects underway. The drilling of these four new wells is part of the MaBoMo Phase 2 development, which is expected to increase gross production at Dussafu to approximately 40,000 barrels of oil per day once all wells are online.

In addition to increasing production, Panoro Energy plans to analyze new seismic data acquired on the Niosi, Guduma, and Dussafu blocks. These analyses are expected to confirm new high-impact drilling targets and unlock the potential of these blocks.

Panoro Energy's presence in Gabon is centered on the Dussafu Marin Permit, where discoveries like the Bourdon discovery in 2025 demonstrate the growth potential of the area. Expansion into the Niosi and Guduma blocks also strengthens Panoro's strategic position in this region. Gabon is sub-Saharan Africa's fourth-largest oil producer and exporter. Panoro holds a 17.5% interest in the Dussafu Permit, which is operated by BW Energy Gabon.

In November 2025, Panoro confirmed the final investment decision for the MaBoMo Phase 2 development program, with first oil targeted for the second half of 2026. The company reported having $44 million in cash as of September 30, 2025.

With a healthy cash position of approximately $78 million at the end of 2025, Panoro Energy continues to be well-positioned to implement its organic and external growth strategy, while maximizing value for all stakeholders, according to Balkany.
