Top Foot Camp, an initiative offering 100 free places to young Cameroonian footballers aged 10 to 13, was officially launched on March 12, 2026. The program is open to boys and girls, whether they are in school or not, and will take place in Douala and Yaoundé. According to Yves Marcelin Djoko, the goal is to "expand access to the sports experience to a wider audience".
The Top Foot Camp is structured around three main pillars: the pleasure of the game, learning, and proximity to young people. It is not a competition, but rather a complementary training framework, separate from the Top Cup reserved for those under 12 years old. The program includes sports and educational activities, including fun warm-ups, small games, technical work, tactical initiatives, and educational discussions.
Registration began on March 13, 2026, via a digital platform and at several points of sale in Douala and Yaoundé. The first 100 registrants will benefit from free participation. A medical certificate and parental authorization are required for registration. The first session will be held during the Easter holidays, April 2 and 3, 2026, at the Stade Mbappé Léppé in Douala and the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé.
Jean Flaubert Nono, Secretary General of Efbc, emphasizes that "supervision by professionals will allow children to understand the realities of football early on." An extension of the program to Garoua and Bafoussam is planned for December 2026.
The Top Foot Camp is an initiative of the Top brand of Boissons du Cameroun, which aims to strengthen its commitment to youth through sports and educational activities.
