The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) is preparing to inaugurate its new headquarters in Warda, Yaounde, on April 17, 2026, marking a significant milestone in the organization's development. This information was revealed by journalist Signé Naha, known to be close to FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto'o.

The ultramodern building, located in the Warda district, is one of the flagship projects initiated by Samuel Eto'o since he took over the leadership of FECAFOOT in 2021. Although work was initially launched in 2012 under the direction of Iya Mohamed, the project experienced interruptions and disputes before being relaunched under the successive administrations of Tombi à Roko and Seidou Mbombo Njoya. The decisive impetus was given by Samuel Eto'o, who accelerated the construction.

The inauguration of this new headquarters represents the culmination of a sustained effort to provide FECAFOOT with modern infrastructure, adapted to its ambitions for Cameroonian football. The building will house administrative offices, conference rooms, and a press center, providing an improved working environment for staff and partners.

In March 2025, Samuel Eto'o conducted an inspection visit to the construction site, expressing his satisfaction with the progress of the work. He emphasized the importance of this project for the professionalization of Cameroonian football and the strengthening of its image on the national and international stage.

Although no official statement from FECAFOOT has yet confirmed the inauguration date, Signé Naha's announcement is considered reliable. The event is seen as a key moment for Cameroonian football in 2026. The new FECAFOOT headquarters symbolizes a new era for football governance in Cameroon.
