The new headquarters of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT), located in the Warda district of Yaoundé, will be inaugurated on May 13, 2026. This modern infrastructure represents a major turning point for Cameroonian football, after years of sometimes interrupted work.

The project, initially launched in 2012, experienced delays due to land disputes. Samuel Eto'o's arrival at the head of FECAFOOT in 2021 gave new impetus to the project, accelerating the work and bringing the project to completion.

The building will house administrative offices, conference rooms and a press center, providing an improved working environment for staff and partners of the federation. The construction of this ultramodern headquarters is one of the flagship projects initiated by Samuel Eto'o since taking office. In March 2025, he expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the work, stressing the importance of this infrastructure for the professionalization of Cameroonian football.

These new headquarters are seen as a strategic investment for the future of Cameroonian football. It is intended to provide modern infrastructure tailored to the needs of a growing federation. Beyond its functional aspect, the building is intended to be a symbol of pride and renewal for Cameroonian football.

Samuel Eto'o, a four-time African Golden Ball winner, was re-elected as head of FECAFOOT in November 2025 for a four-year term. His leadership is marked by reforms aimed at modernizing Cameroonian football, including increasing subsidies to clubs and establishing a minimum wage for players. Despite controversies, Eto'o is considered one of the greatest African footballers of all time.

FECAFOOT aims to use its new headquarters as a strategic lever to support Cameroon's ambitions on the continental and international stage. The inauguration of this headquarters marks an important milestone in the history of FECAFOOT and Cameroonian football.
