In the lead-up to International Women's Day 2026, the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has organized a special program for its female staff. A workshop focused on personal and professional development marked the beginning of the celebrations, followed by a fitness session and an official reception.
On Friday, FECAFOOT's female staff participated in a workshop facilitated by the international firm A&C, focusing on the theme: "Unveiling the potential of women in a demanding socio-professional environment." The main objective of this workshop was to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for the participants. Discussions focused on building self-confidence, developing leadership skills, and reducing mental workload, while drawing inspiration from various female career paths to better meet the demands of the professional world.
According to FECAFOOT's Human Resources Department, this workshop aimed to provide women with the tools they need to excel in their roles and responsibilities. Emphasis was placed on creating a space where women feel valued and supported in their career development.
The program continued on Saturday with a significant fitness session. This activity aimed to promote the physical well-being of the participants, highlighting the importance of a healthy mind in a healthy body. The initiative reflects FECAFOOT's commitment to the health and well-being of its staff.
The celebrations will culminate on Sunday, March 8, with a reception at FECAFOOT headquarters. This event will provide an additional opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions of women within the federation.
