Éric Dina Ebimbe, Stade Brestois midfielder, recently shared his thoughts on his time in Germany, particularly his experience with Eintracht Frankfurt. In an interview with Foot Mercato, he expressed the feeling of not having received the visibility he felt he deserved, given his performances.
Ebimbe pointed out that the lack of media exposure for some Bundesliga matches may have hindered his recognition among the French public and football observers. He mentioned the broadcasting of certain matches on less accessible channels, thus limiting the potential audience.
"Did I have the visibility I deserved? I've already asked myself that question. In Germany, you sometimes play during the multiplex and your match is on beIN SPORTS 8. And apart from your family, frankly, who's going to go that far to watch?" he said.
The player also recalled his performances in the Champions League and his individual trophies, while regretting that he was not considered more for the France Espoirs team at the time. "I was playing in the Champions League, I was winning individual trophies, I was scoring, I found it strange that I was never called up..." he added.
