Canon Sportif of Yaoundé returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Dynamo Douala in the 6th round of MTN Elite One. This match, a classic of Cameroonian football, took place at the Reunification Stadium in Douala in front of a large crowd.

After their home defeat against Unisport du Haut-Nkam, Canon's coach, Patrice Noukeu, was under pressure. This victory is therefore a breath of fresh air for him and his team. Canon quickly took the lead thanks to a goal from Juste Nkoulou in the 6th minute, surprising Dynamo's defense. Franck Belobo then doubled the score in the 53rd minute, sealing the visitors' victory. Dynamo Douala missed a penalty in the 60th minute.

Despite the tactical adjustments of Magloire Simplis, Dynamo's coach, his team failed to break through Canon's defense. The absence of Jules Armand Kooh was also felt on the Dynamo side.

With this victory, Canon de Yaoundé climbs to 7th place in the standings with 8 points.
