A tragic incident has occurred in Edéa, in the Elogbele district, where a teacher is accused of beating her neighbor's son to death. The events reportedly unfolded while the victim was playing with the teacher's child.
The teacher allegedly accused the child of breaking a chair at her home. The situation then reportedly escalated, leading to a violent altercation during which the child allegedly suffered blows that proved fatal.
Following the child's death, the suspect allegedly fled before turning herself in to the authorities at the 3rd arrondissement police station in Château, where she is currently in custody. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case in Cameroon, where violence involving teachers has already been reported.
