Léopold Junior Ngueko, identifying himself as a committed supporter of the club, has addressed an open letter to President Roger Nganjui Siewe, expressing his dissatisfaction and that of other fans. This letter, dated April 20, 2026, highlights internal tensions and harsh criticism of the club's management by its president.
Ngueko mainly reproaches Nganjui Siewe for his detachment from the team, especially after the first phase of the MTN Elite One championship, where Unisport finished at the top. The supporter is surprised by the president's silence and his lack of recognition towards the players, the technical staff, and the patrons who financially support the club. He also questions the president's knowledge of the team's daily realities, even doubting that he knows the living conditions of the players or even their names.
The open letter also points to the inconsistency of the commitments made by Nganjui Siewe before the administrative authorities and FECAFOOT (Cameroonian Football Federation) regarding the delegation of powers to his second vice-president, Fred Siéwé. Ngueko accuses the president of wanting to regain control of the club after neglecting it, even as the team seems to be finding its balance. Even more seriously, the supporter denounces attempts to create division within the club, particularly by criticizing the visibility of historical patrons such as the patriarch Siantou. Ngueko emphasizes the importance of financial and moral support for sports in general, and considers it inappropriate to complain about the presence of support banners in a context where clubs are struggling to find funding.
