SGBFC and GUCE Team, the two finalists, are sharpening their weapons for this top-level duel. The final details concern the logistics of the stadium, including the cleanliness of the facilities and the installation of tarpaulins to shelter officials if necessary. While GUCE Team hopes to take revenge after seeing the cup slip away last year, SGBFC approaches this final with a psychological advantage. Daniel Mbarga, manager and player of SGBFC, champion in 2025, is confident: "We have already beaten them and not just once. On Saturday, we'll do it again". Stéphane Happi, player and team manager of GUCE Team, recognizes the value of the opponent, but assures that his team is ready on all levels: "We know this opponent that we have already faced three times. It is true that they are formidable, but I think that we are physically, morally, and financially ready to approach this match".
As a sign of support, Les Boissons du Cameroun, a partner of the event, donated equipment to both teams on March 31, including jerseys and shorts.
