Cameroon's National Assembly has entered into a tripartite agreement with Turkish-based Memorial Health Group and its local branch, Memorial Cameroon, to improve healthcare access for its members and staff. The signing took place during a visit by a Cameroonian parliamentary delegation to Turkey, led by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril.
The delegation also included MP Bonaventure Mvondo Assam, Cabinet Director El Hadj Boukar Abdourahim, and Protocol Director Finoua Abdel. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between Cameroon and Turkey.
The agreement aims to modernize social support within the Cameroonian National Assembly. It will provide deputies and staff with access to highly technical care, marking a new approach to well-being within the institution. The agreement will leverage Memorial Health Group's technological expertise for the exclusive benefit of the National Assembly.
Memorial Health Group is a Turkish hospital group recognized internationally. It has 12 hospitals and offers state-of-the-art services in organ transplantation, cardiovascular surgery, cardiology, oncology, and assisted reproductive technology. The group welcomes over 75,000 international patients from more than 167 countries each year.
