James Eto'o continues to make his mark in Bulgaria. The Cameroonian midfielder won the 2025-2026 Bulgarian Cup with CSKA Sofia on May 20, 2026, after a hard-fought final against Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
The match was played at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia. The two teams neutralized each other (1-1) before CSKA's victory. In the penalty shootout, CSKA Sofia won 4-3.
