The city of Yaoundé is preparing to host the 5th edition of the National Career Fair for Green Economy and Volunteering (SNEEV). This major event, organized by the Consortium for Nature, Environment and Sustainable Development (CNEDD) in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education (Minjec), CODENOR and CATE, will take place from June 1st to 5th, 2026 at the National Museum.

Under the theme "Volunteering, Local Innovation, Sustainable Development: Accelerating the Resilience of Cameroonian Territories," the fair aims to create a platform for exchange and promotion of initiatives related to the green economy and sustainable development in Cameroon. The five-day event will bring together young entrepreneurs, green businesses, startups, public institutions, technical partners, civil society organizations and green economy experts. The main objective is to foster synergies around green jobs, volunteering and local innovation.

The CNEDD is positioned as a key player in building an emerging Cameroon, in line with sustainable development goals. The organization is committed to greening the economy and promoting sustainable lifestyles, connecting public and private actors to achieve sustainable development goals through local, regional and national projects.

The fair's program is rich and varied. It will include conferences and expert panels, exhibitions of innovative solutions, green job and volunteer opportunities, practical training and networking sessions. The organizers invite companies, institutions, NGOs and technical partners to participate as partners or exhibitors to support the ecological transition and sustainable development in Cameroon.

This event is part of a broader dynamic of promoting the green economy in Cameroon, similar to other initiatives such as the Blue Economy Week held in Yaoundé in January 2026. The 10th International Business, SME and Partnership Fair (PROMOTE), scheduled from June 12 to 21, 2026 in Yaoundé, will also address the national and international economic challenges facing private companies.

The CNEDD, created to perpetuate the National Week of Environment and Sustainable Development, aims to make this event a traditional meeting for sustainable development in Cameroon.

Registration to participate in this major green economy event is now open, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future for Cameroon.
