Colombe du Sud accuses Panthère du Ndé of collusion with the referees. In a statement, Colombe's general secretary denounced intrusions by Panthère officials into the referees' dressing room. According to him, every time members of the Panthère team entered the referees' dressing room, an unjustified penalty was awarded to Panthère, as in the previous match in Bandjoun.
The president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT), Samuel Eto'o Fils, was present at the match but did not proceed with the presentation of trophies and awards. Witnesses reported that he appeared visibly unhappy.
This incident casts a shadow over Cameroonian football and raises questions about the refereeing. Colombe du Sud risks heavy sanctions for abandoning the match. The outcome of this match is now in the hands of FECAFOOT's homologation and disciplinary committee.
