The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education (MINJEC) has announced the launch of holiday internships for the year 2026, offering 234 young Cameroonians an opportunity for professional immersion. This initiative is aimed at young people aged 15 to 35, whether they are learners, pupils or students.
Application files, bearing the mention "POUR LA SELECTION DES JEUNES AU TITRE DE L’EDITION 2026 DES STAGES DE VACANCES," must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Central Mail Service, located at the Administrative Center, in the regional delegations, or submitted online. The deadline for receiving applications is Friday, April 24, 2026, at 3:30 p.m.
Applicants must provide the following documents: a stamped handwritten request addressed to the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, an application form to be collected from the Ministry's Central Mail Service or downloaded from the MINJEC websites, a photocopy of the birth certificate, a photocopy of the National Identity Card, school or student card, a certificate of current schooling, a copy of the ONJ registration certificate, and a photocopy of the Biometric Youth Card or receipt.
Through this initiative, MINJEC reaffirms its commitment to the supervision, civic education and socio-professional integration of young people. MINJEC aims to strengthen the connection of young people to opportunities, increase their empowerment and boost their participation in the development of Cameroon. The Youth Connekt Cameroon program, launched in 2019, is part of this dynamic.
MINJEC is implementing several programs to support young Cameroonians, including access to quality education, adequate vocational training, decent employment, and participation in the life of society and decision-making.
