Aigle Royal du Moungo has officially announced the appointment of Anicet Mbarga as their new head coach. Mbarga, an experienced coach, has previously managed Union de Douala and Bamboutos FC. Anicet Mbarga's career includes notable spells at Union Sportive de Douala, where he was Bonaventure Djonkep's main assistant during their championship title win in 2012. He also led New Star de Douala, qualifying them for their first continental competition, and guided Eding Sport de la Lekié to the league title in 2017. In 2019, he served as the assistant coach for Burundi at the Africa Cup of Nations.
