He pointed out that Onana set a record in the transfer market, reaching a value of €50 million, a peak that no other African goalkeeper has approached.
"They are cheering, they are getting excited, they are convincing themselves that they are witnessing the end of a reign. What a farce! Because even in his decline in market value, Onana remains the most expensive African goalkeeper," Njiki wrote. He added that his detractors are celebrating a decline that confirms his superiority, as he remains out of reach of other African goalkeepers.
